who we are
We opened our doors in 1985, and while our world has changed, our menu hasn't. Serving family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, La Mela is the one place where time stands still in flavor. When we first opened our doors, our goal was to create a place where families from around the globe can celebrate in a warm atmosphere to toast a special occasions or even join us for a fun lunch with friends. Today, this sentiment still stands. That is why La Mela Ristorante is a well known staple of Mulberry Street in New York’s historic Little Italy.
